Hi! My name is Jessica Petersen, and I've been a professional massage therapist since 2013. I graduated from Cortiva Institute located in Hoboken, New Jersey while I lived in the Catskill Region of New York. Since then, I've worked in various gyms, clinics, and spas. I've had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from multiple physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors throughout my years of work. I'm currently finishing a bachelor's degree in Biology to pursue my dream of becoming a naturopathic doctor. This is being done to reinforce my knowledge of the human body, and further grow my practice. I believe in Newton's first law of physics, "An object in motion stays in motion," can be applied to the body and is heavily encouraged in my practice. My goals are to help every client feel their best mentally/physically, assist in preventing injury, and help in recovery of injury/chronic pain.
